Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That just sucks, Juliebird. And what everyone else said about letting it go, and letting karma bite her in the ass.

I did go to Trader Joe's, but still need to locate a popcorn supplier.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've pretty much decided to do a cleanse (okay, well, juice feast) at the end of the month. I've been warned to go gentle with myself, so it's only going to be three days, and it's going to have a lot of volume. And it's three days I'm off work.

I'm almost looking forward to it, weirdly. Time needs to move faster right about now.

Okay, let me get back into this one chunk of work product.

Juliebird, that sucks. It sounds like a recipe made for failure, upset and disaster and that you were caught up in all of that.

I have just found out that the school I left needs to find 3 6th grade English/History teachers all for one track (of three). I would be interested in applying, but I left in a hurry 3 days in this year so doubt that I'd be wanted back.

Also, I have realized that the precise thing that makes my current job uber-flexible, which I love, is precisely the thing that I find rally difficult and irritating. It's a conundrum.

I got my hair chopped today. So instead of looking like old shit, I look like "years younger" shit (the quote is from Noah's day care person).

You always look lovely, Kat. So there. And it can't hurt to send out a trial balloon at the old school, right? The worst case scenario is just "no" right?

Julie, chalk (chock?) that one up to..IT SUCKS, THE MEANIES.

I have 2 ecuadorean products in my home: one a handcrafted silver bracelet my aunt gave my mother after her stint in Ecuador in the 60s Peace Corp. The other? BANANAS. I'm not sure why this amuses me.

I'm about to upload new pics of the new hair AND Gracie.

How much are 8 G iPhones usually? Because AT&T is selling refurbed ones for $249.

Yay!

My brother is going to hate that news. He spent a fair bit recently, trying to be cheap, to get wireless access, ipod capabilities and something else to mimic the iPhone for less because he couldn't justify the initial cost. I think it was about that. I know what I'm getting him for his birthday, if he doesn't beat me to it.

none of the pictures with enough of my hair are good. But there are several very cute Gracie shots.

I can't see it from here, but I'll look at work and if I feel appropriately big-sisterish (read: mean!), I'll forward that link.

I was just going to say, I like what I can see of the cut, Kat. And I really like: [link] Bonus, wee teeths!
