Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

It's still Jon's birthday here, so happy birthday, Jon!

And it's Katie's birthday back east, so happy birthday Katie!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We could see the eclipse from SF. Emmett was very psyched about it and we had to go out into the street twice to catch it.

The first time we presumed it was behind cloud cover but it was actually fully eclipsed. When we went out we saw the eclipse start to pass and the thin sliver of the moon coming back. It was cool.

Premium Cable! That's it. But there's also discussion of other premium cable shows there, so it depends on your spoilerphobeishness.

I fear no spoilers! I will check out the thread. Thanks!

Am now using sick time to get together receipts for my healthcare spending account. Well, appropriate enough, I guess. I need to schedule some appts. before 3/15, it seems. Better get on that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Saw a coloured moon, which was cool. Then went indoors.

Is there a fine line between genius and insanity? I mean there are a lot of people who aren't even slightly genius, but are totally nuts.

Uh, that came from about nowhere. CSI:NY repeat.

On the other hand, this ep has a great steampunk computer with an LCD screen and old school typewriter keys.

I saw no moon. I didn't bother to look because, rain. I'm inordinately tickled that other Buffistas got good views, though. Cool.

Oh, was there a Dexter mention? I love him. He's my boyfriend. I wonder if S2 is as good as S1.

This ep of CSI:NY is turning out to be a stinker.

Not javachik

Is Lt. Dan still glum all the time on CSI:NY? I gave up on it. But had flashbacks to the ep where they find a body in the tiger cage when the tiger in SF got out of the cage.

It took forever to find it at 7 PM here. There a hunk of clouds clinging to the East Bay hills. It's about time to go outside and look around again. I wonder what animals think about it.

V. productive evening. Bills paid, taxes done, letter re property line issue ready to deliver to planning dept. tomorrow AM. My work day was v. productive as well. Win!
