I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

looks like they're trying to recycle

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But for computers, etc. that usually costs money, right?

That's what I'm thinking. I'd give more saleable stuff to Goodwill.

I'm getting paranoid about my PC. If a chkdsk operation means that the BIOS can't see the drive anymore, am I well and truly hosed? I think I might have had more than the boot partition up there, but I don't remember.

Right. There was to be food. Iron. Hot.

I wish someone would bring me hot brown rice with baked beans and a dollop of sour cream, cheese and chunks of fresh tomato.

Don't ask.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

looks like they're trying to recycle

Huh. Good for them.

Punishingly Intricate

Speaking of Facebook, I just had another friend who I haven't been in touch with since college contact me through it. I'd been thinking of her these last couple of weeks because she has the same last name as a certain recently disgraced governor. She told me that I looked the same as I did in college. 20 years ago. So as far as I'm concerned today Facebook is one of the most awesome inventions of our time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Nearly all Goodwill agencies receive donated computers. Last year, Goodwill handled over 23 million pounds of computers. Most of these donations are unusable and safely recycling or disposing of these products is costly, and directly impacts funds available for Goodwills’ job training and career services.

That makes it sound like they almost don't want any.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hi Shir!

I somehow seem to have agreed to take pictures of the Purim party at my parents' synagogue. I don't quite remember agreeing to this, but my mother seems to think I did.

So it's like they're saying:

If you insist, we'll take your dead computer. But you should feel really guilty about it.

Somebody should send that comic to Dana Perino.
