Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Hivemind: How does one format a reference to a Web site? Like I did some research for a project by looking at Monster.com. I looked at all the functionality, so not a specific, single page. Right now I have:

Monster. [link] (accessed March 15, 2008)

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

"The Empty Child" was similarly creepy, though in a slightly different way.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Doctor Who, msbelle (and Sophia). Season Three

That explains it. I stopped watching when Rose and the Doctor were separated.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

GC, what citation style are you using for the project - APA? MLA? etc? They all have specific rules for how to format.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Same writer, not too surprisingly. I love the guy, but he is never EVER allowed in an elevator with me.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Some of those two part episodes I think could have been edited down into single episodes. There's a lot of repetition in "Empty Child" (I forget if it's the front or back half of that two parter) and even though I love the double episode that comes right after "Blink" (the one with "Family of Blood") I believe that one of the things that makes "Blink" great is that it tells a complete story in one episode. There is not one wasted moment in it.

Hm, I think "The Empty Child" is when I gave up watching. I did catch "Blink" because people here raved about it, though, and it was fun. I think seeing it with ad breaks made it signficantly less nightmare-inducing, though.

I agree. I liked the Captain Jack stuff, of which there was more in the second episode, but things are always tighter in single-episode stories. Well, almost always.
