Childhood friends included a girl who had a partial ear and her brother who had a funky hand. Since we'd known each other since birth, it was only a surprise that there weren't more like them.
(Actually, it only occurs to me now that there likely had been a genetic component. Their dad didn't have an arm past half the bicept. Born that way. Huh.)
Um, am I a bad and shallow person if I find this image kinda hot?
Hey, maybe I'm a cowgirl too!
Floor-length is fun--it REALLY feels like one is dressing up.
It takes it out of "really dressed up" and into "in costume yay!" so you can kind of go wild and play like you're at the Emmy's or something. Fun.
If I ever have a wedding I think I'd like all groomsmen and maids to wear matching zoot suits.
Hey Matt, wanna get married?
Group projects SUCK
Yes, they do! I decided it's because no one's the boss. Hence my desire to be Management.
Wow, mac has to wear the brace forever? He'll totally get over any issues he might have. I mean, I hope.
I saw partial ecplipse! But weirdly, it seemed less eclipsed when I got home than before I got on the train, but I didn't think the total eclipse was til later. Hmm.
It doesn't start receding until 10:50. Which means I need to go look.
You can see stars (erm, mmaybe planets? Bad astronomer!) right next to the moon now.
No eclipse for me. It's either too cloudy or in the wrong quadrant, and I'm too tired to climb the hill and find out which.
It's dark. No red glow except at the edges. I remember an eclipse when I was wee that was blood red, viewed from a sleeping bag in the hatchback of the stanza. Freaky cool.
I should have stayed out a little later, I guess. But no. I'm glad to have my blankie and my project runway now.
I can view it from my balcony. Else I wouldn't work for it.
Cause I'm lazy.
