I owned Leonard Nimoy's album. I am in no position to shun anyone.
We won't shun you, Vortex....as long as you don't put Kenny G on your iPod. Or inflict it on us.
I slept in very late, but a friend woke me with a phone call, and we met to trade books and have breakfast. Then we hit CostCo, though we only bought gum and Mexican Coke.
In a bit, there will be Georgetown basketball on my TV, and then there will be swing dancing!
Somewhere, I own a compilation of "Louie, Louie" covers, including a march version.
I was very proud of my laser-etched edition of Paradise Theatre by Styx.
I figure, if it's for Susan, best to assume an age of sabres and cutlasses.
Yeah, y'all know me pretty well by now.
As long as I'm getting French translations, how about this one?
Monsieur le Duc etait de beaucoup le plus fort.
There should be an accent over the "e"in "etait," but I don't know how to put that in. I know it basically means "the duke was much stronger," but I'm wondering if there are nuances I'm missing. The speaker is a certain Madame Grassini, who was at different points mistress to both Napoleon and Wellington, and that's her comparison of the two. So I need the nuances, because, you know, it could be an important research point to know the exact way in which Wellington was better in bed than Napoleon. Yes, that's it. An important research point. (Actually, in the WIP, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that I might be writing sex scenes for one or both of them, so I guess it kinda is.)
with my high school french decades in the past I'm getting that he was very much the stronger one.
I just watched Michael Clayton, which was really good, but I'm afraid my main takeaway is that I want to have a son named Michael and call him Mickey.
I'm sorry, Vortex, we must shun you now.
please! come back!
