Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Thanks for the info, Frank. I liked Dexter more than I thought I would.

aurelia, that sounds just horrid. I hope your week improves.

I've done nothing productive this weekend, mostly because I start coughing every time I move. Blergh. Thank goodness I have today off!

I was watching Pride and Predjudice last night and I was convinced it was in two parts and I was so confused on how they were going to squeeze everything that last hour. Then it ended with them at Pemberley, and I was like, "Man, i have to wait another week!" And it dawned on me that I owned the freakin' DVD and I could watch it at any time.

I did the same exact thing last week. D'oh.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That's dreadful, aurelia.

I also bought and put together an Ikea bookcase this weekend. It was not the one I went in for, which the website said they had but which they did not have. It took approximately forever to put together and I dropped the screws and ended up one screw short, forcing me to rifle through my collection of sheetmetal screws. I had breathed a great sigh of relief at being finished until I noticed that one shelf was upside down.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I feel like today was Sunday and I should still get tomorrow off. hhrrrummpphh!

I had a very unsatisfactory haircut this morning, probably the worst styling that I have ever had - flat flat flat. so I will be looking for a new place next cut. hate that.

2 loads of laundry are in and we ran a few errands.

My mom is here and I am now convinced I need to get a mate. I like this having some free time thing. Can I do that without any effort? that would be best.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Pride and Prejudice is messing up all my recording devices. Last week I recorded the first installment on the DVR and it wouldn't shut off, kept recording hours and hours of PBS over my saved shows. So, this weeks I recorded it on EyeTV and it plays back unwatchably, as if it skipping ahead every few seconds.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Timelies all!

Back from Boston. Not as tired as I thought I'd be. Had fun at the con and got to see Theo and DX in passing....
