This isn't a come-on. I'm in a very serious relationship with a landscape architect.

I know my dream is unlikely to be very interesting to anyone else, but it's so vividly present in my mind that I really want to share it. Feel free to skip.

I had a dream where students at my school were being modified by Death Eaters to, in one case, create fire and, in another, just be able to withstand fire. Then they were put in a car crossing the border but they refused to attack the US and turned away before they got to immigration and headed toward Iranian immigration before they caught on fire.

Yes, apparently we share a border with Iran in this dream.

Then they were taken prisoner and tried to explain and one of them eventually fell in love with her Iranian captor and lived with him in his palatial villa, although she could only come out and use the pool when the rest of his family was in the second laundry room -- the place was so big that they'd be gone the entire day. Despite this, it was pretty romantic, although there was some intrigue going on about how the genetic mutations were being spread -- it turned out it was through money. Sneaky Death Eaters.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I work in an IT dept.

person 1 "My Blackberry is a lifesaver."
person 2 "...Blackberry light sabre...I might get one if they made a Blackberry light sabre."

you can imagine, it continued from there.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's morning.

It's stil dark out here, so I choose not to accept this reality.

I've been trying not to, but my roommate's ridiculously loud alarm went off at 6:30am this morning, so I've had a while to get used to the idea.

You get to wake up later than 6:30 am?

Nice.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

but my roommate's ridiculously loud alarm went off at 6:30am this morning for no reason I could discern

She's up studying for a test. At least, that's what she tells me.

I'm sorry it's ridiculously loud, though. My husband really needs to learn that on days when he doesn't have to work, he can't hit the snooze button on my alarm.

I probably should get up at 6:30am, but I do not. Getting up at 7am makes me murderous enough, thank you.

She's up studying for a test.

Yeah, exams. I just wish she hadn't kept hitting snooze for 45 minutes. 'Cause, seriously, I think her alarm probably wakes up half the building.

Coding and Sleeping

Sorry about your drive msbelle.

Very clever and cool Allyson.

Hope you feel better and don't have trouble from weird strangers aurelia.

Shrift and Dana have me confused, but I'm not trying to figure it out.

Emily has better dreams than I do, except for the flying dreams because those are awesome.

We had Parent Teacher conferences. Leif's teacher adores him and he worships her, it's very cute. Emaryn is doing well, but there were some minor social concerns. Hopefully we can help smooth those out.

In other news, my new medication seems to be doing the trick with keeping my heart beating correctly so I'm feeling good about that.
