You know, I understand that sometimes you may need help doing or understanding something, but why does my annoying coworker, need someone to stand next to her while she is doing everything, and WHY DOES SHE NEED TO READ ALL OF HER EMAILS AND RESPONSES ALOUD. I think I am going to snap. She is really good friends with my now eliminated boss and she is going to go ballistic when she finds out. I am the only one who knows right now.
Sophia, just bide your time. If she's the one who'll go ballistic at the news while you remain calm, it's likely you'll be the one still employed after the fireworks are over if the überbosses are looking to continue streamlining.
Did Rick's link earlier today about perception get lost in all the flickr group madness? Because it is awesome. [link]
Ha ha ha! I actually
went back and rewatched and holy crap, look at that.
That's brilliant.
One week until the first day of Spring. IJS.
Well, I just met with Big!Boss, who did not tell me about my boss being let go, but wanted to meet about our move. She wanted to reassure me that she wanted me to stay, and she understood my panic about moving because I take the bus. So, I don't think I am losing my job. However, I am not sure I want to stay here in the long run, so I am looking again. I just want to keep working for my boss, you know?
wow, today things are just falling into place. An email I'd been dreading sending, I sent, and turned out a-ok - I was suggesting changing some plans and the person said they wanted to do the same thing. yay!
oh my gosh, msbelle, you need to go out and buy a lottery ticket! It's gonna be a winner I tell you.
Ugh. So is it possible for me to wash, fold, and put away like 5 loads of laundry, pack two toddler suitcases, and grade a paper set today? And trying to bake cookies too is madness, right?
maybe get slice and bake cookies. no way on 5 loads, maybe do 2 or 3. can you get the suitcases packed without the clean laundry?
I hope the job thing sorts itself out for you Sophia. Maybe msbelle can lend you some of her magic.
That sounds like madness to me Burrell.
Sigh. I was afraid it was too much.
Okay, we'll do as many loads as gets done. Frankly the real challenge is putting the laundry away, it hasn't been done in ages. And yeah, I can pack the kids' suitcases without doing all of it, by mommy and daddy might not have anything to wear. Hrm.
I should be grading right now.
