Librarian Warlord

Job ~ma, Sophia! Any idea when you'll know something? (you work for a university, right? so the budget will show your line or not?)

hip deep in pie

Yikes Sophia! I would start looking around, just in case.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

you work for a university, right?
Yup- I am hopeful, as it is much harder to eliminate a staff position than a faculty one (which my boss was), and I was recently given another faculty member to support as well as my boss. But I like my boss and my job!

I am currently perusing the website for other Admin positions, but there is nothing good right now. Big! Boss wanted to talk to me last night, but she was not here by 5:30 so I left. Now I wish I had stayed.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Puddleblog

Yes, a blog about a puddle.

"You know, that puddle should have its own blog."

Mostly just pictures. But for some reason I love this caption:

February 1, 2008. Today there were coat hangers in the puddle!!

What is Puddleblog, you ask? Puddleblog chronicles the epic journey of one puddle, bracing for an uncertain future.

It’s a blog. You know, for a puddle. Specifically, the puddle that graces the corner of Jay and Plymouth, a couple blocks east of the Manhattan Bridge. Maybe if this thing catches on we can think about including other qualified puddles.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Specifically, the puddle that graces the corner of Jay and Plymouth, a couple blocks east of the Manhattan Bridge.

Hey, I could go visit it!

Apparently, it just went dry.

You should drop off some flowers at the puddle. Maybe they'll end up in the blog....

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Or, you know, show up with a pitcher of water and fill up the puddle.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Oh fun. a save the puddle campaign.

I just met a contractory-ish person who I have only worked with via email. people are never what I envision them to be.

I am so wanting a day to cook/bake/sew/knit. Maybe a crafty-cooky retreat weekend. Wouldn't that be fun? Maybe I could actually organize things enough to make it happen before the month is out.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My coworker brought in a box of hot glazed doughnuts. I want to climb into the box and roll around.

You could dress up as a superhero (with a mask) and refill the puddle....

Or maybe a Ninja....
