I am with you guys. Also, wouldn't most of that have been her money? Am I correct in thinking she's been a fancy lawyer while he's been a public servant?
No, Spitzer has family money (which he lied about using to pay for his election to AG), and she left (Skadden, I think) a long time ago.
I think the story is he spent $80,000 over a period of years sexing the hooker ladies. ::rolls eyes::
I'm so with Aimee. It's like these women get to be punished *again* by having to stand up there and pretend that they're supporto gal in front of the world.

Oh yeah, I forgot about his family. And didn't realize she hadn't practiced in so long, until I just read this profile: [link]
I dunno. Silda is a smart cookie, and very tough. I doubt anyone is forcing her to do what she doesn't want to do. I don't like the idea that she's not doing this for her own reasons-- maybe her kids, or her divorce settlement, or her other ambitions after this.
I'm with bon on this one. Also, those poor kids.
Somebody remind me to buy coffee before I go home. And that it's okay to spend a little bit more for a pound of good coffee because it works out to $0.30 a day.

Life is far too short for bad coffee.
Random: awesome kitchen gadget.
In the kitchen, there are gadget people and then there are knife people. Gadget people are never content to rely upon a traditional, elegant solution to a food preparation problem, and instead use various colorful and wittily named gadgets. Knife people want to turn their sharpest knives on the gadget people resulting in a colorful and satisfying plume of blood and a cascade of the ever-intensifying screams, but do not ultimately do so for fear of somehow damaging the blade.

Like Hillary.
But would not going to the press conferences really hurt their ambitions? I can see how it could hurt the kids, but I don't see how it could hurt her divorce settlement (if she decides to go that route). If I were in her shoes, I think I would rather be with my kids.
