Oh, I'm so glad I skipped right now. Not because I can see youtubes on this computer, because I can't, so lori's last post will have to wait for the home computer in order to be properly appreciated, but she was smart enough to start it with "Also", so I went back and found the pictures, and I'm all in a "he's so adorable! So cute! And so BIG! And look at her, all out! I'm always struck by how beautiful she is." and it's a lovely place to be.

lori, I can never thank you enough for being so wonderful with updating us with pictures.

And the reason I skipped? Oh, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is tommyrot's birthday.

I'm a bit more than groggy. I set my alarm to go outside at 2:28am for the shuttle launch. It was nifty, but then I couldn't really get back to sleep until the time I had to get up. Time for a nap.

Huh. Interesting. My father just got a letter from the mayor of the town in Germany where his mother grew up, inviting him to some kind of Kristallnacht commemoration ceremony. (My grandmother's family owned a restaurant, and it was destroyed on Kristallnacht. This November will be the 70th anniversary.)
