Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I definitely think the getting busted as part of a federal thing is the crazy part, not the doing it with hookers part.

I'm not surprised he would WANT to do it with hookers, he seems fucked up like that, but the convincing yourself you won't get caught, even as you hypocritically catch other prostitution rings, and reach for higher and higher office? That seems ridic.

Reminding self I do not need it and am unemployed.

I am reminding myself that there's no competing with the hipsters and that I might as well not try, especially since I am not built like a rake and am insufficiently emo.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Corruption would not surprise me at all. Prostitution and getting caught is what is surprising.

Also does the "involvement IN a prostituion ring" rather than "WITH a prostitution ring" lead anyone else to think that profitting from rather than sex is the angle?

That's the crazy part to me. although it happens all the time. (I don't think wanting to do it with hookers is even that weird. But to want to so badly that you act on that impulse when you have so much to lose?!?!?)

Yeah, that's the other thing. Although the Times piece was updated and made it sound like he was probably just Client Number Whatever.

information libertarian

NYT has speculation that he is "client 9" mentioned in an investigation.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

shrift does not need to compete with the hipsters, as shrift is much more kick-ass and transcends hipsterdom. You would look fierce in that coat.

The NYT has updated their story and he was a client, not a pimp.
