Nilly, believe me, you do not want to take the blame for Mondays. That's a whole lotta blame. And pain.
Also, "Hi Nilly!"
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Argh. Stupid Monday. Got to work to discover my computer had lost the ability to cut and paste. Coffee insufficient. People keep asking me questions that require actual thought.
BAH.
Another Edit to wave at tommy - how are you doing?
I'm doing OK, besides being really tired.
What are you up to these days?
you do not want to take the blame for Mondays
Well, I don't take any responsibility regarding Mondays. They're my fault, just like everything else. Not my responsibility. There's that, too.
Also, is this where I should mock myself again for being unable, for years, to realize why so many songs hated Mondays so, when Mondays were just another day in a week which starts on a Sunday?
Also, of course: Hi, Frank! How are you doing?
I wonder if caffeine could be used in a gaseous state... like, in an inhaler or something....
The temptation to crawl under my desk and nap is almost overwhelming.

Sounds like I'm doing about as well as tommyrot.

Very simple - for those of us who are cubical dwellers (or in school), Mondays are the beginning of the work/school week. This is not necessarily the case for those in the service industry or in the creative arts.
The temptation to crawl under my desk and nap is almost overwhelming.
Yes, but then you'll have George Steinbrenner hovering around your desk and you wouldn't want that.
If you made caffeine radioactive, do you suppose it'd work better?
Oh, tommy, I hope it's the kind of tired that becomes less and less with time, and not the other way around.
As for me, it's Purim soon, so yay! Best-cookies holiday ever, and always makes me think of Cindy and her will-convert-for-food posts.
(Um, it's "yay" whenever I manage not to think about the terrorist attack last Thursday night, in fact. But let's focus of the cookies and the yay and even Mondays, instead of that.)
[Edit: here, all weeks, everybody's weeks, start on Sunday. It's even in the *name* of the day - Sunday in Hebrew is the named with the same word for "first", Monday with the word for "second" and so forth. So it was obvious - shabbat, the 7th day, day seven, was the last day of the week, and Sunday, named "first day", was the first of the following week.]
