You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

okay, I had a dream too weird not to share: I was driving in a car with soemone, and we could see these weird white shapes carved into the hillside in the distance. We decided to investigate. When we got to the place there was a mad scientist-y guy there who explained the symbols allowed them to draw power, pointing to a yard filled with giant onions that were atop these robot bodies. Apparently onions have sentience, and the mad scientist decided how to tap into it. He also said he thought they were more intelligent than humans.

I woke up before they could take over the earth.

8 hours worth of programming class today. Actually, most of it is practical exercises/projects and maybe 2-3 hours of Actual Instruction With Notes And Stuff, but it's still a pretty long and intense day....

I was watching a piece on the Cincy Snowpocalypse on NBC. I hope you have cozy, stay inside plans for today.

We are having the rainpocalypse, but the worst is supposed to hit tonight. Also, I noticed that the tulips I planted in the fall are peeking through the dirt. I'm worried it's way too early for them. Then need another month underground before it's safe to come out.

Lord, we're on national news? It's because we can't cope with snow. I mean, it IS a lot of snow for our area, but still. Sheesh!

Other than going outside to take pictures, we're staying in today, definitely. The snow has led the police to warn people that if they're out driving (unless they're going to an essential job, like to the snowplow yard or a hospital, etc.), they're getting ticketed.

It's the WHITE DEATH!!!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yowza, Tep, that's a lot of snow!

Looks like a perfect day to stay inside and watch DVDs.

It was on Today. They said it was the largest March snowfall Cincy has had in 40 years.

Cool.

Meanwhile, it's 15 degrees outside, but at least it's sunny. I need to get dressed and go vote.

I've already had one disappointment - what with tivo not recording Storm Front.

I'm in programming class, but should be able to check in intermittently. It's supposed to rain on and off all day and into the night here, but at least it's in the 40s.

Yesterday, I noticed a number of crocus/daffodil/tulip shoots in the neighbors front gardens, so I guess the spring thing is going to happen, eventually.

Well, I looked at the longer forecast on Weatherbug yesterday and despite the cold and nasty windchill of today it was still predicting weather in the forties starting in the middle of next week.

However, back at the beginning of last week they were predicting a high of 40 tomorrow and everyday that 40-degree day has been pushed back further and further.
