I was wishing I could have stayed home today. I spent too much time on the computer before getting ready for work, and just as I put on my sneakers and was standing up to leave the bedroom and head out the door, my cat strolled in looking for some petting. I wanted to stay and snuggle, but I was running late. I think she knew that, so, of course, she kept weaving around my feet, jumping on the counter while I tossed my lunch in my tote, and then watched me put my coat on and meowed plaintively as I closed the door behind me.
I didn't want to go!!
Very little makes me regret falling in love with, and then moving in with, a vegetarian, but that pot roast sounds So. Damn. Good.
You come here for a weekend and I'll make you all sorts of lovely, meaty dishes and we'll veg and watch tv and be gluttons all weekend and eat EVERYTHING. Bring Graeters.
I think my ears are stuffed up. Also, I would like to sleep a whole night through. That would be lovely, thanks, love, E.
ETA: I am a very whiny spoiled person who has never had children, and I apologize.
EATA: But I think we can all agree that sleep? Good.

Oooh, Aimee, that sounds good, thanks!

I'm not kidding! I live close now! And I need to come down there for my Jennifer Crusie tour of Cincy.
I'm having pancakes for lunch. Woo!
Where does "nom nom nom" come from?

If you lived in my house, I might be bitter. Otherwise, NSM.
