I don't think people should be TALKING to other people in grocery stores, let alone commenting on their carts.
Another thing that drives me crazy, although this is probably particular to my boss, is that she complains about gaining weight and how fat she is by saying exaggeratting her clothing size. So, " I am soooooooo fat, I now wear a 20 woman's petite!!!! Can you believe it!?!" Um, no, because that is my actual size! The size she thinks is such an exaggeration!

Not that it's not totally rude for her to say to you but who's to say that's not the size she's wearing? Clothing sizing being as wacky and inconsistent as it is.
