Update - still waiting, but the judge came in a few minutes ago & said they might be about to settle, in which case we could all go home. Fingers crossed...

Hi, Nilly! You can put it on the calendar. I don't know why I never said so, before.
lisah, speaking of cute, how are my twins? I have to run. My mother is taking me out to lunch and she'll be here soon, but I'll be back, like a bad check.
Happy Birthday, Cindy!!!
Thanks, Jess. I saw pictures of your son. He's still supposed to be a newborn, but he's standing up and stuff. What the heck?
Happy Birthday, Cindy!!
From last night:
This is what HDTV has done to me.
My HDTV has resulted in my cat watching a lot of tv, much more than she did with the old one. It used to be only certain animals would catch her attention, but now it's bright lights and lots of movement, as well as critters--over the weekend, she was fascinated by both "How It's Made" and a bunch of apes on Animal Planet.
lisah, speaking of cute, how are my twins?
They're turning 2 this Sunday! They are RIDICULOUS CUTE with the crazy language acquisition, both verbal and sign. Some recentish pictures:
lisah, I am DED FROM TEH CUTE
Did you get the set of the puzzles that was promised?
Yes. I need to finish something (damned job!) but I'll send them to you later... using the scanner at work (yay job!). If anyone else wants them just let me know. Jesse already knows this but for anyone else who receives them, puzzles 8A-8C are the championship puzzles: one set of answers, three sets of clues ranging from easiest (C) to really, really hard (A). A, B, and C correspond to the divisions. Only 27 of the 699 contestants were in A (although one B scored well enough to participate in the A finals); there were 74 Bs. This page has videos of the tournament - not that thrilling except to see just how insanely fast the top solvers are. If you click on the Al Sanders (5th overall) link you can see me briefly. I'm in the purple shirt three seats away from him.
Hi, Nilly. I was thinking about you the other day when I was watching Mad Men. One of its stars is Christina Hendricks, Firefly's YoSafBridge. Your long posts on the Saffron episodes were even more excellent than your other Firefly writings.
That would be awesome! I have the championship ones, but not the others.
Also, hilariously, it's me, erinaceous, and her father-in-law (from right to left) behind Frances Heaney and Ellen Ripstein in their video.
