Kaylee: Can I? Zoe: Sure. He's out, though. Kaylee: He did this for me, once.

I never tip coffee people. I think this is because I order coffee-flavored coffee, and all the barista has to do is pour it, put a top on, and hand it over, so I really don't think that deserves more of my hard-earned monies.

I am eating tomato soup and grapes for lunch. I think I am going to be starving in about an hour.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't tip people who don't bring me my stuff, pretty much. Unless they go above and beyond.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I never tip for counter service either.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I tip at the neighborhood cafe here in Evanston because they're nice and do political and cultural stuff and once the owner's husband came and fixed our network domain stuff and refused to accept payment.

eta: Oh, and did I tell y'all about the feral kittens they're trying to save?

That story rocks. How hideous that it happened in the first place, though. Argh.

Phew! I didn't want it to be just me and nasty-rude-lady.

Of course, on my current budget, I don't really get coffee outside anymore. I guess if I went regularly to a local place, I might tip more.

The Starbuck's card was good for not feeling guilty about not tipping since you're not paying with cash.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I tip for coffee where I work, but the young woman who does the coffee here is exceptional. A) she remembers everyone, what they eat for breakfast and their preferred drink. B) she keeps our free coffee punchcards in her drawer and lets us know when we have a free coffee C) When I asked for ice cubes in my latte to cool it down, she said that she could actually make it warm instead of hot, and she does for me every time without having to ask.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Is Monday over, yet?

This Monday has firmly decided on being a Monday of Monday's. Why could it not have been a Monday that behaved like a Thursday or a Friday?

One more class to teach, rehearsal and then I get to go home. Only 4-5 more hours.

Do Coke slushie's have calories on Monday's? I could use one before rehearsal.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Is there ever a Monday that feels like a Friday? No points for a Monday that comes in a week where you get to take the rest of the week off.
