Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Whoops. I meant "The State Within." "State of Play" is the one with newspapers. Both great series.

Just got home from the after-party at a bar after an awesome a cappella concert. I haven't been to a bar on a Saturday night for a long time, so it was somewhat hilarious.

I need to go to bed soon because I have to get up, not look too hungover, and go to a Blackhawks game.

My life, so hard.

Trust my rage

I just downloaded all of S1 I Jericho this week and have been totally loving it. Lennie James is awesome.

Kat, did you go with the movers? When do they do their stuff?

They come this morning. I have to get Noah to our friend Susan today (she's taking him to church and otherwise babysitting) and then get back to the old place.

Can I just say how much I love this house? The heater works well, there are garage door openers and the backyard? Beautiful in grassy goodness. It's wacky to go from a funky old house in a very urban gentrifying area to total suburbia. And to like it.

Also, ita, this house is a little smaller than the one we looked at near the Apple Pan. It has a much nicer yard. And when it was listed it was almost exactly half the price.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

There are times when suburbia is exactly what you need. I haven't hit that point yet, but I can understand it. I may be a city girl in my heart....

Our wings are not tired.

Yay smartyhead Jesse!

{Mac & msbelle} I hope you had a peaceful night.

Woo shrift! Yay for social life!

Happy moving day, Kat. Much happiness to you and yours in the new digs.

I don't know what is in the plan today. I have already done laundry and dishes, made tea and sorted vitamins for the week. Time for some relaxing and internets until after CBS Sunday Morning. It shocks me that I am becoming a morning person. All the menfolk sleep in and it is so quiet and peaceful. Birds chirping and palm fronds rustling in the breeze outside. Brandy snoring next to me on the couch. Nice.

I love mornings because it is quiet and peaceful. Though I'd imagine night is equally quiet and peaceful, but i'm usually too sleepy to enjoy it.

Okay, gotta go finish moving. Meeep.

Oh, good morning show! Segments on Herbie Hancock and The Onion among other things.

Good point, Kat. I'm quite asleep by the time things get quiet here.
