Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That blog is so freaking hysterical.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Boston drivers are insane, but they pay attention to the road. This wins them many many many points over the polite-but-clueless driving one encounters in CA. (Or the rude and clueless driving one encounters on the DC Beltway.)

Thanks, Fred. I've been trying all kinds of things and she seems excited at first but quickly loses interest. She liked ground turkey and baby food the first couple of times, but now won't eat it. I'm going to keep trying different stuff. She is such a little bag of bones, it's sad-making. But she still purrs and likes cuddles and jumps, so we're not done yet. Poor Jo!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Meh. I went to Au Bon Pain to get lunch, because I wanted soup. They didn't have any kind I wanted! So I ended up with a chef salad, which is fine, but exactly cozy on this freezing day.

Any math-istas in the house? I'm puzzled by high-school algebra. Are there extraneous solutions to sqrt(x+3) = sqrt(6)?

Er...not that I can tell. Though I am not a mathista. If it were (x+3)squared=6squared, then maybe, but....it's not....

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If it were (x+3)squared=6squared, then maybe, but....it's not....

I'm squaring x+3 right now AIFG!

Sorry. My brain isn't working today....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Gloomcookie, I don't know if this will help your cat, but Ozzie stopped eating for a couple of days because of the anitbiotics he was on, so the vet gave me some food for anorexic cats--Hills Prescription Diet AD canned, and it really did the trick.

Our wings are not tired.

{{GC}} Sorry about the struggles. I'm glad she is still happy to purr and cuddle. Can you convince her to smoke pot? I heard a rumor it increases appetite.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

No advice, GC, but lots of love.
