Jesse I had the same problem and my nails are pretty thin so they break easily even when they were short.
That's totally me! OK, I'm going to do it. If nothing else, it will make me less self-conscious in meetings when my hands are on the table.

True. I'm wearing a very dark, redish-purpley-black polish by them right now. (the color is "Black Cherry Chutney" from their India collection) It is wonderful.

I don't bite, but like Dawn have very thin and tearable nails (ack, just typing that sent chills up my spine. Hates it, I do!) I've been giving myself manicures with fake nails from target or wherever for over a decade. Takes about an hour to soak them off in acetone and put on new ones. $5 while I sit watching tv or reading (while soaking.) Cheap and doesn't require the peoples.

sarameg, I swear if I could do that I would but man, I suck at trying to get everything even. I'm so totally uncoordinated I can't even paint my own nails without having polish go everywhere. It's like a 2 year old painted my nails, and fingers, and sometimes even my pants.
