I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Always Anti-fascist!

Not only is that gross, it makes it worse. My ears don't bother me as much after I use a candle...cleaner ears are, at least on me, not as itchy, either.

Fri dinner - waffles

I love that you guys always have waffles for Friday dinners. (Or do you alternate between waffles and pancakes? I can't remember.)

The woman in the cubicle across from mine just picked her ear with a hairpin

Eeew.

And I enjoy some inner ear frottage as much as the next guy--ok, much more than the next guy and I would NEVER do that.

But a bobby pin has, like, a scoop-y effect!

Loves My Fiestaware

It's nice, but both my sister and mom are also fans of Fiestaware, and I must always do the opposite of one if not both of them. It's a lifelong reflex.

Yes, I have maternal/sister competition issues that I fully acknowlege!

But, I also prefer patterned plates with either nice big designs or multi-colored, not mono-colored. I like showy, splashy stuff, but I fear getting bored with the same showy pattern and don't like the idea of replacing stuff because I'm bored. So, I stick with a pattern I truly detest just because it was free and I don't want to commit to a replacement.

Le sigh. Ennui engulfs me.

(Or do you alternate between waffles and pancakes? I can't remember.)

he muchly prefers waffles, so we have them almost exclusively. I am trying to think of what to do to them this week since we have done food coloring three weeks in a row.

LJ help - how do I link to an old post in a new post?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

But, I also prefer patterned plates with either nice big designs or multi-colored, not mono-colored

How about one of these, all cheap enough that you replace them in a couple of years if you get bored: very showy [link]

Oh, and one more: [link]

I like this one: [link]

A friend actually has this, and it's very purty: [link]
