I couldn't believe it the first twenty times you told us, but it's starting to sink in now.

I mostly comment and hardly ever post, so i feel silly making a post just to show off an icon.

no worries. If that was a problem, the term GIP* wouldn't have come into being :)

*gratuitous icon post.

Punishingly Intricate

Perhaps now people will stop telling me that I am not actually saving money by taking the bus. I pay $56 a month for unlimited rides. I used to pay $80 per month for gas, $ 40 a month for parking, plus maintenance and insurance, plus, you know, a car payment.

Now I'm no math whiz but even I can figure out which is less expensive!

I have a lunch date I have to leave for in about 20 minutes. aieeeeee!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Thank you Dana, shrift and Suzi, and Vortex! I will do it! Because of my new obsession with Gossip Girl, I had to get more icons!

Alos, I guess this belongs in tech support, but, Suzi, how did you get the made by so and so to appear as a livejournal user name link. I R Dum today.

And while we're at it, does anyone want to tell me how to get puntucation marks when I am test messaging!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had a phase in the fall where, every time I went out of town people asked me how I do my grocery shopping with no car. The fact that my monthly travel expenses are a flat $76 was very impressive to those people. At least the people I was talking to could do arithmetic!

Hit 1, and use the arrow keys to scroll through your options. If you have my phone, that's how you do it, anyway.

I'm in the odd position of spending less money on transport now I have a car. And saving two hours a day on my commute. But still, so guilty.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

At work, they pay for my monthly mass-transit pass (which they then deduct as an expense, so it's like tax-free income). So my monthly expense for taking trains and buses to work = $0. Plus non-work-related trips are free too!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I would consider taking public transportation to work if it wouldn't take me an hour and a half each way.
