Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

...gold rings aren't going to be any use in a werewolf attack.

I cannot begin to explain how much I love this statement.

I have silver and gold jewelry. DH prefers gold so much of my jewelry reflects that bent. If a werewolf attacks, I'll be scrambling for another option.

Because books.

Allyson, I have at least two of those days weekly.

Plus, with so much of my family in scouting I was raised to Be Prepared, and gold rings aren't going to be any use in a werewolf attack.

Ever have those days? I just had that day.

5 days a week since last September. Today was one of the really bad ones.

Added bonus to my silver jewelry is that some of it can be used like a stake! (I have a lot of column shaped earrings.)

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I have those regularly. But I often have no idea what I'm doing.

I really need to go out and buy some self-confidence. I need it in the new job. Unfortunately, I've been beating it out of me for near a decade. t /whine/bullshit/self-undermining

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Seriously, you guys? You're all so much more smart and capable than 90% of people out there. Doing whatever. I swear.

Allyson, I too have that day on a regular basis. Today I had a variation on that day: everyone is going to think I am really stupid when they read my lame-ass personal statement.

MM, you don't want to know how much I want to use yours. Priceless.

Brenda, great news about your review!

Vortex, I cannot believe the nerve of those people. What good is storage if you have to balance a flashlight on your head to find anything?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Good onya, brenda!

I have too much jewelry. There's maybe one or two gold earrings in there, and no gem more valuable than garnet or amethyst...wait, I'm not sure where to file pearls, although they aren't particularly fine examples of that either.

Man, we have this great huge deadline at work (cf daily hell meetings) and I'm getting squished from both sides to give info and to wait for info and I swear it's all not my fault.

It's a freaking miracle I don't feel stupid.

I don't want to take my 365 picture today.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

MM, you don't want to know how much I want to use yours. Priceless.

Hey, I say give it a shot. At the very least, they'll remember you.

ita, sorry work is stressing you out. Also very sorry about the Sisyphusian conference call.

Pardon my spelling. Blackberry-induced thumb malfunction.
