Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

It occurs to me that I should stop playing with this stress ball because it makes weird sucky-squishy-groany noises, and people in surrounding cubes probably think I'm in some kind of severe gastrointestinal distress.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If you do this in Outlook, it sends at the proper time, but it has the date and time stamp from when the message went into the Outbox.

Ah, good to know. We do have Outlook.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Some guy just asked me if this was my summer hair. Heh. I wish it were summery enough here for that.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

This is flabbergasting, if true. You know how Obama has had Secret Service protection for quite awhile because of threats against him? And you know all the big rallies he's had at places like Key Arena? Apparently there's less security at the rallies than at ordinary sporting events in the same locations: [link]

I've been reading this, and it really unnerves me. Obama was actually in Cincinnati today, at the university (which is 5 minutes from my house), and I opted to not go because of what I've read about the shitty security. It just gives me a creepy feeling.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Flew back yesterday. Still watched the Oscars. Sooo tired today.

Thoughts on dresses: Looking at the color-coordinated NYT pictures, the black dresses really come off the worst.

Other thoughts: When will Renée Zellweger realize should should wear brighter colors? They would look so much better on her.

Actually liked Marion Cotillard's dress. It was much better than what she wore on Friday to the Césars (where she also won).

Loved seeing all the color. Except for anything with asymmetrical crap on the front.

Loved Kelly Preston's hair color. Don't know how long she's had it but it's much better than the blonde she used to have.

Still dislike Calista Flockhart immensely, but that light aqua/eau de nil color is absolutely gorgeous on her.

I was extremely underwhelmed by George Clooney's girlfriend. I expected someone much prettier. And how old is she anyway?

ETA: I can spell. Really.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It should not look like a clam!!!

PERZACTLY!!! This was my email:

Girls –

It is a rare occurrence (and usually brought on by too many diet Cokes and a whole tub on Rondele spread able cheese) that I disagree with you girls, and never do I feel compelled to write you about it, but today, I’m feeling sassy and cheated by a bunch of Hollywood actresses that gave me very few abominations to rage about this morning. Also, I don’t know if I could have been more bored if they had just shown the “English Patient Awards” last night.

But, I digress into my letter to The Academy. Anyway…

Are you looking at the same Jennifer Hudson I am? The color – is gorgeous. She has such beautiful skin that sets off a true white like I don’t even know what. And a Grecian-inspired dress would (note: I said “would”) be awesome on her curves - especially in what seems to be her favorite jersey fabric. But this cut makes her look like she should be standing in front of the Acropolis as a tribute to Clam Breasts in a Grecian Urn. The cut-ins at her waist need to be wider and more detailed to pull off a cut like that on top. Right now she looks like BOOBS! HIPS! And no waist in between.

Anyway – love the site and you guys. My boss lets me check my email and the “news”. Fortunately, he never specified what he meant by news. He checks CNN, I check you guys.

Much love -

Aimee

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's awesome, Aimee. The one time I wrote them (about something really stupid), we had a hilarious back-and-forth.
