Xander: We just saw the zebras mating! Thank you, very exciting... Willow: It was like the Heimlich, with stripes!

JenP, oh my god! You *must* see Amadeus and Schindler's List if nothing else.

I know, right? I'm just sad.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think commercialism started overtaking quality around the mid 90s for Best Picture. There were still some good ones, but far too many were just the big spectacle movie of the year.

Because books.

Forget telling him, just round up some guys with clippers and a hose.

I'm all alone in my love of scruff, aren't I?

Not the not-showering, though. I approve of showering.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I flove Amadeus and OoA, although I know they have detractors. Personally, I think Braveheart and Crash were kind of rubbish, but then, I don't vote for the Academy.

Oh, Nicole. You need to rethink the hair colour. And the jewelry. And the botox.

Nicole Kidman's necklace is interesting, but I still think it's a no.

Heh. I was going to post that I could envision liking it, but not with what she's wearing.

No! No you are not.

Because books.

I loved Braveheart and Dances With Wolves. Although I can no longer watch either thanks to the stars' incredible bloviation.

Nicole Kidman needs her naturally wavy red hair back.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I figure showering with Colin and shaving him personally would be a rewarding expenditure of energy.

Unrelated to the Oscars: Etsy kimono-style blouse with obi belt. Caught my eye. Still thinking.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I love Crash despite its obvious flaws. I think you can skip Braveheart and fast forward through most of Dances With Wolves.
