Travers: Perhaps you'll favor us with a demonstration while we're here. Buffy: You mean, like, right now? 'Cause, already had my recommended daily dose of fights tonight.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

True, S1 had "She," but, well, you can't win 'em all.

(Plus, "She" had Angel's spaz!dance, which is well worth the rest of the episode.)

I Fall to Pieces, people. The dude's teeth launched themselves out of his mouth.

And note who came up with that idea.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Come, on -- 5 x 5!!! I just like to see Wesley suffer, I guess.

Oh, yeah, those were good episodes too.

And S1 had Phantom Dennis! I loved Phantom Dennis.

Me too!

I Fall to Pieces, people. The dude's teeth launched themselves out of his mouth.

Hee.

I like a lot of S1, really, episode-wise, but there isn't a lot of story arc to it. I wouldn't say it sucks. But I don't say that about most things because I am notoriously easy to please.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I was kinda surprised by how much the season around that episode sort of... um. Er. Gotta go.

I didn't think it was possible, but I love you EVEN MOAR!

"Don' be e-scared"

I made fun of "I Fall to Pieces" in "Through The Looking Glass."

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I'm rewatching as well and will be starting Season 6 of Buffy and Season 3 of Angel this weekend. I have always liked season 6 although I haven't watched it since the initial airing (except for OMWF). It will be interesting to see if my reactions are at all different. Somehow I doubt it.

I was just talking to a friend of mine, who recently visited Bangkok. She said that there were 2 episodes of Drive available on the in-flight on-demand TV on the flight home.

Odd.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

I made fun of "I Fall to Pieces" in "Through The Looking Glass."

Yeah, but it is so easy to make fun of. If you managed to successfully mock "I Will Remember You" or "Hero," well, the fans would have probably lynched you, but it would be lynching that respected your narrative skills...

EtA reference...

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

While both those episodes had very poignant elements, they were not impervious to mockery.

I Fall to Pieces, people. The dude's teeth launched themselves out of his mouth.

Complete with the upper palate, no less! They were missing only the wind-up key! (I did love how Angel just nonchalantly smashed them against a post instead of being freaked out though. Looks like all that practice getting bitten by Darla was good for something besides the obvious...)
