Well, quite a lot of fuss. If I didn't know better, I'd think we were dangerous.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm curious. Is anyone squicked by A Midsummer Night's Dream?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

The trailer is back up, for now. We got lawyered, but not by FOX - they've used a band's song in the upfronts trailer they don't have clearance for. It's being redone tomorrow.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

...And I've taken it back offline. I'm gonna put up a new version of the trailer in a few hours.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Also, I recently finished the entire Buffy series. The new full series boxed sets are awesome. I'd not really seen the show, believe it or not. Not with any kind of serious consistency. Now I'm all fan boy.

Ha ha ha ha. That's awesome. And amusing. And cute.

Damn you, Dave Grohl!

I am not squicked by the Dollhouse premise at all and am instead intrigued about the ways the show might explore defining (and redefining) one's identity, which is a pet theme of mine.

It's a pet theme of mine in a huge way too, Polter-Cow.

I find myself wondering if you laughed manically when Tara died, Tim. I possibly imagine you as some evil genius.

"It's cutting edge science in a house full of hot chicks!"

That seemed like something Warren would say. Pretty much a villain. Bugs me big but in the "man do I hate that character now!" sorta way, which I think is pretty intended.

Seriously? The usage of the phrase "hot chicks" makes someone a villain? I think that's a bit much.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I found the trailer on youtube. It was very good but it did cause uncomfortable feelings deep down in my gut. I think it's the coffin-like sleep pods I found most disturbing.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I like the disturbing. It makes me think. Non-disturbing? My brain shuts down.

Dollhouse still sounds far more interesting than Fringe (which is just screaming X-Files to me). Also the trailer felt very Angel in terms of style.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

If any of you need a link to the trailer (and a bonus scene/half-scene), just search Youtube for "Dollhouse" and "fox" for the goodies.
