Checking back in here to say "Woo!" A few people on Sirius Radio have been dismissive of the strike which irritates the crap out of me.
The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
You are, but the network isn't.
Well, with shows like Pushing Daisies and Chuck, it seems like they are. I'm glad of that. I'm dying for more from both of them, but I want the shows to be done right. Pushing Daisies, in particular, is just such a lovely, well polished gem. It deserves better than to be hacked. I just hope it can survive being off the air for so long. I keep telling myself that this new, abbreviated pilot season will suck and that my favorites will be safe.

I'm in complete agreement. I've loved PD with a passion I have not had for pop-anything in a long time. As a result, I've looked at each episode as if it will be the last. Nihilistic, I suppose, but smart/funny/pretty/charming doesn't seem to last on my airwaves.

I'd be willing to wait as long as I have to for more Pushing Daisies, my love is so pure.
PD is fine, I reckon - it's done good ratings.
I rewatched The Inside recently. Fuck that show was great.
Hell, I'm still waiting for an arc resolution on Drive.
I liked Drive.
Everybody died. Except for the person who won.
if you had a job and were replaced during the strike, you get to go back to your job when the strike is over
This is good and right and happy making.
Here's a better list: [link]
I think the only show I lost this season was Journeyman. ::sniff:: and Life is Wild. It was cool seeing lions and elephants.
Nothing is really disappointing. I would miss FNL if it didn't come back but not in a heart breaking way. Besides, maybe Adrianne could then be un-dead on Supernatural.

I love it.
Did Charles Martin Smith survive the aired episodes? If so, it would have been really cool for him to present the winner with a trophy, and then walk out of the room as it exploded.
