Fred: The size and depth of the wound indicate a female vampire. Harmony: Or gay! Fred: Um…it doesn't really work like that.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Re: casting race issues... let's just say that I'm on guard. Original Cindy from DA could have been a really terrible and stereotypical character, but the actress made her awesome. Some people on lj expressed concerns after seeing the sides. I'd link you but I honestly can't remember who it was.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

She has a recurring role on Reaper as Sock's on again/off again girlfriend.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

let's just say that I'm on guard

So that Hollywood Reporter article we were discussing two days ago. I mentioned I thought this was odd:

Over at Fox, J.J. Abrams "Fringe" looks like a lock after an enthusiastic response from the network's brass during the weekend. Fox already has given its blessing for staffing to begin on the Warner Bros. TV-produced sci-fi drama.

From today's THR:

Drama "Fringe," which already is staffed, continues to be the surest bet at Fox, along with Joss Whedon's "Dollhouse."

Final analysis: THR. On crack since 1930.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

What medication do you give people with multiple personality disorder? That is what THR needs.

I even looked to see if maybe they were written by different people or something. But no, same byline.

But no, same byline.

Now that is just ridiculous.

And I will eat my hat if Dollhouse is announced as a mid-season show next week.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Man, they got that show staffed FAST.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Well, I saw something in the Boston Globe that Eliza was filming Dollhouse, so I was wondering why she'd be filming something now that was going to be midseason.

Of course, it was a gossipy bit on whether she's actually dating Seth McFarlane or not, so take it for what it's worth.

Art Crawl!!!

Maybe they started filming fast to get some stuff done before the actors go on strike. After all, hadn't they filmed all or most of SCC in the summer/early fall of last year? And it didn't air 'til January.
