Yay Kristen!
I seem to recall a show in the 70s that was about first responders and frequently had ridiculous calls. On one hand—the 70s. On the other hand, people are frequently ridiculous, so. The ridiculous nature of some of the calls on 911 has been a bonus to me.
Bear with me for a tangent.
The first look stuff for 9-1-1: LONE STAR reminded me that my great aunt was a firefighter in Texas. I went looking for info to confirm where she was and it turns out she was the first female firefighter in Galveston!
Awesome Kristen!
I might have to give it a try.
9-1-1 tonight was excellent!
I'm really enjoying 9-1-1 and Lone Star.
Such a comforting call back to my favorite show of yesteryear. And, pretty people!
9-1-1 and it's Lone Star counterpart are appointment television for me. I love them.
Knowing that
Connie Britton is slated to return next season, I'm watching the reintroduction of Abbie at the tail end of this season with a side-eye. I love Abbie, and I loved Connie Britton so much -- I think it was my favorite role she's ever done. But the show has grown and changed since the first season that the first season almost feels like a separate, complete show in and of itself; and the subsequent seasons almost feel like a spin-off.
