I watched a few bits and pieces channel surfing and was interested enough that I think I'll find a repeat to DVR.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
Most of my Coven love was the costuming.
The AHS setup actually makes me want to go back to it -- I think I've quit every season except the first eventually, and it's possible I quit last season during the pilot.
I only made it through the first season. Every season since then I have been intrigued but didn't get around to starting to watch until the hot mess degeneration was well underway and I would decide not to bother.
Y'all, I fell asleep during the AHS: Roanoake premiere last night. I'm not sure that's exactly what they were going for. And it's not even like I thought the episode was bad. I really liked the whole conceit of having the confessional cast and the re-enactment cast. It was clever and we get double the good acting. I just found the whole thing dragged. Well, thus the sleeping. Plus, it wasn't really all that scary. I don't know. Maybe I'll try to watch again when I'm less tired? It certainly seems like it'll be better than Freak Show, which is the last AHS season I watched, so that's something, right?
Most of my Coven love was the costuming.
Pretty much, yep. And Coven is the only AHS I've watched.
t the "total cliche" tag never closes
Roanoke, huh? Some interesting possibilities there. Or at least, a topic on which I'm a sucker for wild speculation. Wonder if Darla will show up.
Asylum was very good, and creepy as hell.
I'm still catching up on AHS. I just watched Hotel ep 10 and the end of that ep made me laugh and laugh and laugh. OMG. For some reason Netflix stops at ep 10, so I'm going to have to search for the last two episodes of the season.
I started Coven on my first weekend off during War Paint and was very surprised to see both leading ladies from my show appear on my tv. Then during Freak Show I kept wondering why Dandy looked so familiar until I noticed a poster at work and realized I've worked with him, too.
I think Asylum and Freak Show have been my favorites. All seasons have had amazing production design.
This is still the soap opera thread too, right?
Last week, NBC brass said they "liked" Days of Our Lives and would consider renewing it for a new (and probably final) season in a couple of months. Last year, the DOOL renewal came in early February 2016.
This week, the soap ditched head writer Dena Higley in favor of Ron Carlivati. What say you? [link]
