The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sounds reasonable.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My sister just texted me that she's sitting at dinner with Richard Brooks. Does that seem right to you?

Oooh.

Given other times I remember being jealous of your sister, yeah, it kinda does.

Also, I would like to make a Fringe or Wire reference here but none that are apropos come to mind.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Crafty people. I recently bought some awesome fingerless gloves and I want to put some sort of cushioning in the palm of them for when I walk a long distance with my crutches. Any suggestions on how to do this?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

There is pre-quilted yardage available at craft and fabric stores, you might use that. Or sacrifice a potholder and use part of its padding for your gloves. I think I'd go with the latter. You could check the kitchen department and try *all* the potholders to see which one might work best.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

From the department of crafty randomness:

Anybody have one of those projects where you tear apart some book that they've been dying to try, but didn't have a book they were willing to so desecrate? If so, I've had a couple of books fall into my hands that would be absolutely perfect (unless the project calls for an interesting cover as well...'cuz no). Seriously, I doubt the library can even get a quarter for them, so if anyone has any interest let me know, or they'll just hit the recycle bin probably.

Hi thread. I miss you. I miss watching a Tim show. I miss watching a show same time with a chunk of the board.
