The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

DirecTV has parental controls. I don't use them, but I'm pretty sure you can block anything that's rated Mature (or whatever the rating system is, I don't pay attention).

Because books.

The cold open was brutal. Even I was surprised, and I watched last season. Definitely looking forward to the season, though.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Given that television is becoming more and more an untimed thing, I think the parental controls are key if there are people in your home whose viewing habits are your responsibility.

We have dvrs, Hulu, and many more streaming options. Just because a show was initially shown as a 10 p.m. show, that's probably not when a lot of people watch it or have access to it. The original air time feels less and less meaningful.

Which is my reaction to television in general because there's no way in hell I am ever watching any AHS. I don't do horror scary and AHS seems very, very good at horror scary.

Because books.

It's actually not "scary" for me. It's more horrifying and unsettling and disturbing.

I think you're right about TV viewing, though. It's amazing how much technology has changed programming in just the last five years, and how viewing habits (or wish lists) drove the development of technology.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

So far, I'm in Marie Leveau's court ...

I'd agree with one important exception. When destroying a great evil, you do NOT give it immortality to ensure it suffers eternally. Even if you are not an evil overlord, learn from the evil overlord manual: "Death is NOT too good for my enemies."

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Amazon Prime now has a season pass for this season of AHS! Guess what episode I'm going to start watching!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If your kids are going to know most of the tool better than you, make sure you know the bit of the tool you need to know as well as it can be known. Work the fuck out of those parental controls. Lock that shit down.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Guess what episode I'm going to start watching!

Is it...is it the only episode that has aired?

Oh, that was fun. Messed up, but fun.

After that first episode, I think my favorite character so far is Fiona.

Jessica Lange has a ball on this show.
