The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Wednesday will be 21 days since I've smoked.

That is awesome. I'm very impressed.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Go you! My roommate is going on three months and if he can do it so can you. He did have to leave the room last night during the heavily smoking oriented episode of The Simpsons. He said one thing that really helped was telling every single one of his smoker friends that he was serious about quitting and not to give him a ciggy no matter what.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I'm on 6 months and used the Chantix. I feel great and don't miss the smokes at all after smoking for 25 years. It gets easier. Hang in there.

Chocolate helps, but now I am paying for that.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hooray for smoke-free peoples!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I know someone who quit smoking by immersing himself in either an iodine bath or an epsom salt bath.

That sounds...extreme.

by immersing himself in either an iodine bath or an epsom salt bath.

Because he was literally smoking? Due to being on fire? IOW, huh.

Go Cindy!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Go you guys! I will exhale in your direction, if you really really insist.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

apparently the iodine or epsom salts sucks out impurities and relieves the symptoms of nicotine dependency. Or, this is what my acquaintance believed.
