She's looking for something a lot simpler-
something more like this [link] but for an adult.
She's going to make it herself and she's not sure she can handle lacework. The vintage part seemed important, so something that either is or looks vintage.
How is she at sizing up things?
I would still suggest the same magazines. There were kajillions of dresses in them.
I don't know about sizing up. I'll recommend that to Katy who runs the yarn shop.
I'd point the woman in the direction of where to search but she doesn't own a computer.
She might also consider merging a sweater and a skirt pattern. I know not everyone is comfortable playing fast and loose with patterns like I am, but, especially if you knit 1-piece top-down, you can try on as you go.
Tiny Jayne Hat pattern.
Eeee! I kind of want to see a mini Xmas tree decorated with all tiny Jayne hats.
"You had me at, 'give me the damn glock'" is my new favorite romantic line from a television show.
sj, I just tried to like your post.
I sort of tired of Nikita and quit watching towards the end of S2. I think I just got sick of Alexandra Udinov. But I'm definitely enjoying the new season and I like the way the show keeps changing the premise (as opposed to...what was that Jennifer Garner show? Things got so crazy at the end).
