Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm trying to convince IO9ers to watch Nikita. Too many of them think that Vampire Diaries has a solid emotional through line. I'm trying to convince them to look at other sources too for surprise deaths and plot twists.

One of the LA posters suggested a viewing party, but he always does that.

I'm sorry I missed it first run. I looked for it on Netflix over the summer, but no love.

The S1 DVDs were only released last month. But the CW just signed that new deal with Netflix so that's why we're available for streaming now. In fact, right after the episodes became available, we were as high as 2nd on Netflix's most popular list.
