[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Allyson, back when the show ended, he urged people to pressure Fox for DVDs. And six months ago it looked as if Fox was going to do them. That changed, as you know.

He's linked to your site half a dozen times, including once yesterday. This was Not About You, and I don't understand why you cut the question he was replying to. You did see that it was a reply, right?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I since Kristen can't be your patience, Strega is being your patience.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Kristen is my patience. Strega is my reason. You are the air beneath my wings, though.

The question was: Is Chicago Code coming out on DVD?

Shawn Ryan's response was: Fox Home Video isn't currently intetested in releasing Chicago Code or Terriers. RT

At which point another person asked: Can you sell bootleg DVDs on Ebay of your own show?

Shawn responded: Worth looking into.

I don't think it's irrational to extrapolate (nor would it be irrational for anyone else to extrapolate) that Shawn just said, "these are not going to be out on DVD."

Which was retweeted by Sepinwall.

Which makes me feel kind of stupid. Sure. The whole thing was a windmill tilt.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Well, now I'm pissed and he is not my favorite person ever.

I'm waiting for Strega to reason me. I'm begging to be reasoned with.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I checked out the tweet and it looks like he just tacked on Terriers in frustration. That's me giving him the benefit of the doubt. No way is Chicago Code getting DVDs. Maybe he was answering "Chicago Code Dvds?! No way, they aren't even moving on Terriers Dvds, which was a show with heart and soul and needs rewatching." So maybe its not a "Stop!" but instead more of a "they need convincing."

I dunno.

He also retweeted your tweet about the new Q&A for Terriers on DVD. Maybe he isn't evil.

Shawn Ryan's response was: Fox Home Video isn't currently intetested in releasing Chicago Code or Terriers. RT

...See, I'm wondering if you are misreading Twitter codes, because why are you including the RT at the end, but not the thing he's RTing? That RT doesn't mean "Please spread the word," and if that's how you took it, maybe that's the issue?

I honestly don't understand. It is true that Fox is not currently planning to release DVDs. If they were, you would not need to do anything, right?

He got a lot of people replying and retweeting because he also mentioned Terriers. And you could piggyback onto that if you wanted to. Most people who might care probably assume there will be DVDs eventually. You have to let people know there's a problem if you want them to do something about it. If he'd said "I'm sure someone will sell DVDs eventually, don't worry about it," I'd understand your reaction. But he did the opposite, and I'm bewildered.

You have no idea how badly I want to be confused. I just don't think I am.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I don't think he shat on you. He says they aren't CURRENTLY interested--that doesn't mean they might not be interested if enough fans speak up.

I'm glad to get your perspectives on it. It was the bootleg comment that made me say, "oh, hey, WTF?"

At any rate, after the layoffs today I'm sort of not in the mood to be bothered by this. FPC.
