When contemplating potential series with a mix of darkness, whimsy, and Magical Realism, I don't think The Adventures of Young Hannibal Lecter would have been the first thing to spring to most people's minds.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I don't think The Adventures of Young Hannibal Lecter would have been the first thing to spring to most people's minds.

I loved Lecter's whimsy. Sure, he killed and ate people. But he did it with whimsy. And menu planning.
