Which still isn't out on DVD.
Still? It's only been six months.
I can't work out what sort of show Chicago Code would have been in its second season.
From what Ryan's said, there would have been a new investigation/villain in S2. Lindo might have made an appearance or two but he was not going to be a regular.
Lindo was really good in that role, but I have to give the MVP to the woman who played his assistant. She was frighteningly good.
I would love to hear from Chicagoistas if Biels' accent was a good one. I certainly bought it.
She's from Chicago, so... yeah. Some people in some parts of the city sound like that.
Her accent sounded weird to me, but I certainly wouldn't know if it was authentic. It just wasn't one I was used to.
The melting pot in Chicago is still pretty chunky, so you have neighborhood pockets that retain things like some of those odd vowel sounds. I've really only encountered that accent a few times. I would say it's somewhat rare except that it's just as likely that I just don't spend any time in the neighborhoods where it exists.
I don't think I feel exactly bitter about either.
I think Chicago Code might have had a fairer shake. I certainly saw more advertisement for it.
I knew about Terriers because of us and then saw maybe one poster. No one I ever talked to about Terriers knew anything about it.
I'll accept that sometimes shows I really like are canceled but it's more painful when I think people didn't even know about the show that is then canceled.
I do like that all of these shows have had such a strong sense of place. Apparently I like it when the location matters. I didn't realize that before.
This is the beagle thread right? Soldier returning home from overseas is greeted by his two VERY EXCITED beagles.

Hmmm, I think I may need to knit a fish.
(I sent the beagle link to friends: it made them cry too.)
