I finally caught up with last week. Holy shit! And of course it's for an airport. The city's only tried to annex the (formerly NAS) MCAS Miramar base for their own any number of times. As is, all the radar air traffic control for Lindbergh is done out of Miramar. It's a very convoluted system out there.

And I normally can ignore time because of the glories of Tivo, but I still have to fix my Tivo from before the trip.
