The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Did not see the final twist coming on who the rapist was. I was as convinced as Hank about the who.

Painful, painful ending, but there was no good way for Britt to find out Hank knew. And I'm glad Hank was smart enough not to say who.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Brit was kind of scary when he was mad. I mean I hurt for him, but I was a little afraid of him too. Hank wins most hurtful response again with his "he forgot about you the second he was done".

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Wow.

I do take back my being boggled that they'd place the series so definitively in San Diego and ignore the idea that sometimes the police cannot, and should not, be trusted. Well played.

Man, they are all so broken. Makes for amazing stories.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Man, that was brutal. Good show.

I was super glad that a coworker brought up Terriers to me today before I had to bring it up to him! Not that either one of us is a Neilsen family...

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My friend C and I were talking tv last week and I said "have I talked to you about Terriers yet?" and the bartender totally jumped in to say how great it was.

It's like we're the new Jehovah's Witnesses.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

LOL. Can you imagine. Shall we go door-to-door?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Wow, great episode of "Terriers"! I'm not sure if it was better than "Out of Gas", but the pacing and twists were great.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I have the last two episodes of Terriers on my DVR, unwatched. I don't think I can take it right now. I mean, Questionable Content is kicking my ass right now, and that's just a web comic.

I know exactly what you mean about QC. I know why it's happening, but it just feels so...OMG NO!!!!!

And, yeah, Terriers is being like that.
