The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Art Crawl!!!

No, it doesn't.

But then, whenever you bring it up - it's got to be the wrong time.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Are we pretty sure the ratings are so low there won't be a next season?

I'm not. F/X has such a different decision tree than broadcast, I'm not gonna guess what's going to happen with the ratings.

It was the kindness of Michaela with Crystal's parents that gutted me.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, that was just gut wrenching.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

And Britt was such a good guy for going along in support.

There have been a few gut wrenching moments for me, but the most poignant so far has been Steph telling Hank, "You can do this", when he took her to the assisted living center. I needed to make both of them soup.

What does the Chicago show mean for Tim's involvement with Terriers? Evenly divided ?

"I guess it's a good thing we couldn't have kids."

Gretchen is (obviously) a much better person than I am, because I'd have said "Yes, it certainly is."

There's an interview with Logue at Futon Critic comparing the final 4 episodes to a train rolling toward a cliff, so... buckle up, I guess.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

This is the show I am most going to miss if it doesn't come back.

Mostly because I feel like people haven't watched because they weren't introduced, not because they decided the show wasn't for them. I'd sort of be resigned if people just didn't get it or like it. They'd be completely wrong, but that happens.

Still I am going to enjoy every last ep hurtling towards the cliff. And hope for a second season. I had no idea what to expect going in and it took a few eps to grab me but now I am hooked.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Seriously. The people in this show are even more fucked up than the ones on Mad Men, but I actually like them.

Oh, they are totally broken humans but I don't hate any of them. I actually really like all of them. Because they are so human and still so broken. Bad decisions, bad advice, bad choices and gorgeous sunsets.

Always Anti-fascist!

wrod, and wrod. Much more relatable than that Cheeveresque ennui button they keep pressing on Mad Men.
