This money, it is too much. You should have some small refund.

Punishingly Intricate

I'm trying yoga on Saturday! We have an Intro to Yoga class at my gym on the first of every month. My trainer's been pushing me to do yoga for weeks. I need to work on my flexibility.

YOGA! There are a million different ways that it is taught but the yoga I've done in the last 3 years has improved my flexibility but also my muscle tone and strength and endurance more than any other excercise-y thing I've ever done. Plus I love it. Hope you do too!

I love yoga, and miss having a teacher to help my practice since I am inconsistent on my own. I still dream of making the pilgrimage to try your teacher(s) lisah, but then I'd want to go all the time.

eta: What I really loved about it, other than all the reasons mentioned above, is that I had many fewer injuries from other activities while I was doing yoga -- the flexibility, balance, etc., kept me from suffering a lot of twisted ankles, scraped knees, etc.

Well they are opening a 3rd studio up in Towson this Spring so, maybe if things continue to go well, they'll open another place closer to you someday.

I miss yoga. a good for me time in a good for me location has not appeared yet. Ideally I could take a stretching or yoga class while mac is in swimming, but alas, they do not offer anything.

even more ideally a teacher would live next door and give me private lessons after mac is asleep.

my dreamworld, come live in it.

Does your dreamworld include free, private yoga for all? Because I will pack my bags right now.

my dreamworld involves a lot of barter. Perhaps I hem pants for my private yoga teacher, or maybe I make her agave/spelt/low-fat carrot cake, or maybe I take her child to school each morning with mac.

Bartering is very good. My daughter and a friend trade off, Alexia cuts her hair and her friend is Alexia's personal trainer at the gym they go to. You might be able to find something like that where you take Mac.

nah, I take mac to the Y.

I once semi-bartered my hair dying. I bought dinner for us both and was open to either her coming to me or me going to her which ever fit her schedule best.

I'd love to figure out some bartering options with people in my building, but there are precious few with kids and my offerings for bartering are few right now.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am hoping to find some Pilates or yoga classes nearby. I was hoping to get back to regular skating, but it looks like the DH's movie is going to go (yay!), so he'll be away for 6 weeks or so. I will have to come right home from work to walk the dog every day and can't add an extra two hours to get to the rink and skate. I bought a rebounder which I have heard good things about, so I can exercise at home. I tried it out yesterday--and it is very fun and very hard, so I'm happy.

Oh! I have a rebounder. I should do that this weekend.

See, if I lived near Scrappy, I could walk her dog as a barter.
