Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I'm not loving it. I find the characters irritating. I want to like it, but I don't. I will, however, give it another few eps, as the pilots tend to be filled with hyperbole and very obvious ideas to get through to the idiot studio execs.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm pretty pleased with it so far. Really enjoyed the fight in the parking garage, and the partner's fancy dinner out with his girlfriend (complete with bartering).

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Someone on Whedonesque mentioned a Veronica Mars vibe, and I guess I can see that. Outcast private eye whose investigation into a friend's murder leads him to the richest and most powerful man in town.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I was a bit thrown by them sitting down and telling the Evil Overlord that they were onto him, knew what he was planning, and that they were going to Destroy Him! (dun, dun, dun!!). Considering that the Evil Overlord has money, influence and henchmen who will kill for him, that seems less bravado and more stupidity.

Yeah, that was quite ballsy, especially for small-timers...who are maybe big-time and don't know it!

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I was a bit thrown by them sitting down and telling the Evil Overlord that they were onto him,

I was hoping maybe this was on purpose. That the audience would know what a stupid move it was and therefore conclude the guys are not the brightest. It's more believable that they aren't successful PI's if they make some bad decisions.

who are maybe big-time and don't know it!

Things like this made me smile and kinda fall in deep like with them. Also, when Hank guessed that his ex was getting remarried--the actor's reaction gutted me.

What city is used for the filming? Those were some really pretty views.

Or the girl friend.

I'm really afraid she has a target on her. Too much love between all of them for her to be safe.

Because we know how much Tim loves love.
