Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fox 21 is a 20th Century Fox TV production company.

What is "Terriers"? I'm guessing it's not actually about a bunch of small feisty dogs.

Buddy PI dramedy, from the sound of it.

Does Tim know Chris Judge?

Tim's working with Shawn Ryan on a comedic drama.

First thought: Eeeee!

Second thought: That should keep the standards & practices people busy.

Art Crawl!!!

And it's for FX. . . does FX have a Standards & Practices Department?

That's what I was just wondering, sumi.

Though, oddly, I've been watching Criminal Minds on A&E and they seem to mute out the "adult language" that did air on CBS. I found it very odd.

(I don't imagine that being an issue on FX.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was thinking about that, and figured it got edited to be acceptable at all times of day, in any syndicated situation -- because they totally curse on A&E shows. It's like how they've never re-edited The Breakfast Club for what would be allowed on TV now, vs. when it came out.

Considering what airs on Nip/Tuck, I don't think too much is going to get cut from the new show based on content.

Oddly, I notice more the adult language missing from Crossing Jordan than from Criminal Minds on A&E. Don't judge me. But fading out language on CM is so shutting the barn door after the horses have all burnt to death.

yeah, it's annoying. I suppose they have to worry about that 3PM airing. Of course, they're more concerned about bleeping "ass" than showing the mutilated corpse, but whatever.
