Liese, I'm envious. A pot of tea, a nice elderly woman companion, and you have all the elements for a cozy mystery.
The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
It is seriously fabulous. The sleeper is a roomette so it is tiny, but the door closes and drapes pull shut so it is really quiet. So an introvert like me is perfectly fine, despite the shared tables for meals. (Tomato & cheese on sourdough, pulled pork sandwich, salmon with asparagus & caper sauce) I begged off lunch and had them bring it to my car. Just had a shower and am now posting from bed. In Kansas.
Anyway! I am up to 70 rows on my scarf and doing well. Have not tried the circs yet but will tomorrow.
My mom and I took a sleeper train cross country shortly after my dad died. It was a wonderful trip. It's such a cool way to see the country. Train tracks often go through the less public parts of cities, so you get to see backs of factories and schoolyards and right inside peoples' windows.
When I visited my in-laws in India, we took trains all the way from Chennai to Agra. It was fantastic. (We were in first class sleeper cars with air-conditioning - I imagine coach class would have been less fantastic.)
Wow, Eve from Days of Our Lives is playing someone's mother on Glee. I feel old.
Yes, I remember when she first showed up on Days and tried to break up Frankie and Jennifer.
Was that before or after she was a hooker? I mostly remember her and Nick.
I can't visualise her without the scar.
Oh, I always wanted Eve to come back and show the early Sammie what a real bad girl was.
Was that before or after she was a hooker? I mostly remember her and Nick.
I think that was before we found out that she had been a hooker. Every soap has one.
