The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I didn't watch Knight Rider as a kid, so I kind of enjoyed it. Plus, I'm have a huge hard-on for Mustangs. But everything else I agree with. That self-satified smirk made me go, "Yup. Don't care bout him."

I liked the Hoff appearance, but I have a weakness for those kind of trite and strained reunions.

What made Joe laugh was when I asked, "Hey - so the bald guy with the mustache from the first show - is this new white haired guy supposed to be him?"

"What bald guy with the mustache?"

"The one that always shows up and saved Hoff's behind."

t cricket, cricket

"That's Magnum PI, isn't it?"

"Yes. Yes it is."

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I am very sad William Daniels is nowhere to be found.

Maybe he refused on principle?

They should have hired a sound-alike. Sheesh, people. The CAR'S VOICE wouldn't be freakishly eighties.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Well, Val was a last minute replacement. Turns out the original voice actor had a contract doing voiceover work for commercials with another car company (the original one, I think) and when push came to shove, decided to keep his commercial work rather than keep his voice on the pilot movie, and if any resulting series.

Seems like a wise decision to me...

Visilurking

I didn't watch the movie, and now I'm glad I didn't. They lost me at CHANGING THE MOTHERFUCKING CAR.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

when push came to shove, decided to keep his commercial work rather than keep his voice on the pilot movie, and if any resulting series.

As I recall, he didn't have a choice. His contract with the previous company agreed that he would not work with a rival company

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

So the parties involved are admitting that it was nothing more than a 2 hour Ford commercial?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The actor whose contract precluded voicing KITT was Will Arnett. I was surprised to learn he was the voice of GMC trucks, but I do FF through a lot of commercials.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

And to bring it back round to soap talk, the lead in the Knight Rider movie played Tad's son, Jamie Martin, on All My Children. He is also married to Alexa Havens, who played his on-screen love interest Babe on AMC.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Who voices the Lexus commercials? I always feel like I should know who that is.
