Buffy: Dancing with you is way better than trying to hook up with some good-looking guy. Xander: I think I liked it more when you were kicking me in my puffy groin.

'Get It Done'

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

For me it was only once Ashford took over the role.

Oh, of course.

But seriously, he's like the prototype Spike, in the "Yes I did bad things but maybe I feel bad about them and maybe deep down I can be a better person if someone just believes in me" sense.

I'm judging you stingy, right about now.

Check your e-mail in about five minutes.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

And helped show ABC that the show was not exactly sustainable in an open-ended format.

Good! That episode was so incredibly, incredibly poor I did think 'surely this is a template to show how Lost doesn't work'.

A One that isn't cold, is scarcely A One at all.

I know we've talked New Media here before, even when it was just a concept. I always had a personal interest which I eventually carried on to a relationship with StrikeTV. I was wondering if any of you have checked out http://www.rprimelab.com/ which is the online ARG (alternate reality game) for Dollhouse. It's about Hazel Rose who is trying to find out more about her biological mother when she gets trapped in a container and is apparently being shipped somewhere via boat. Just so happens in the container she has internet access and the equipment to self imprint. Users are supposed to upload videos to interact with her.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

As Firefly fans are spread hither and yon on the thread, thought I'd post this here:

Help NASA name Node 3

NASA wants your opinion in naming the International Space Station’s Node 3 – a connecting module and its cupola – before the two segments travel to space and are installed on the orbiting laboratory. The name should reflect the spirit of exploration and cooperation embodied by the space station, and follow in the tradition set by Node 1- Unity- and Node 2- Harmony.

The choices are:
Earthrise
Legacy
Venture
SERENITY

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Contributed my vote. Now I have an urge to hit the library and use every computer there to vote some more.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That vote has been totally slashdotted...not that I didn't do my part.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Slashdotted, sure, but look at the alternatives. I mean, venture? Really? Ventures aren't even necessarily particularly good or successful, they're just...ventures.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Ventures aren't even necessarily particularly good or successful, they're just...ventures.

My only question was "Hank or Dean? Or Rusty?"

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I came close to voting for Tranquility.
